Taste is very important to our quality of life and is tied into smell as two of the most crucial of our human senses. You may rememeber how lacking your food seemed during your last dose of flu. With valentines day and indeed 'Love Week' coming up during the next seven days then try the concept of article in last months paper as well as the new regional food group funded by ONEnortheast called Taste North East.
The launch of our new regional food group was good this week but for many farmers, artisan food producers and foodies it has taken a long time to get a mechanism for action. So from now on in the north east we will be mainstreaming local food and I for one look forward to buying more which is homegrown.
