I have worked in the north east all my life and I have been Managing Director at Croft Technology - a Newcastle-based IT company - for over 20 years - so I was delighted when I was asked to write a blog for nebusiness.co.uk.
I have to admit that at first I was a little sceptical - do I really have enough to say to keep a blog going? Will people be interested in reading my view on the world? Will it turn into 'Renton's rant'?
After pondering on the decision I decided to give it a go - so here I am!
After reading other entries from business men and women across the north I know that blogging standards are high. So, as the new kid on the blog I hope to keep you entertained and intrigued, debating, commenting sharing my thoughts on some interesting and diverse topics.
I am looking at this as a bit of an online adventure so I hope you will join me...
