Thinking Digital, the UK's answer to US conferences such as SXSW, TED and PoP!Tech returns to The Sage on 25 to 27 May.
It's shaping up as an annual event where 500 attendees gather to hear some of the world's greatest thinkers and innovators gather in Gateshead to hear inspiring talks and share the latest ideas and technologies.
Among the speakers for 2010 will be execs from Creative Commons, Futureworks, Ogilvy Group UK, Sony Pictures Digital and Wired UK.
If you're hoping to go and haven't got a ticket you're going to be disappointed. It sold out in January. Conference founder and director Herb Kim says that the popularity of the conference, now in its third year, has spread via social media and word-of-mouth.
"When we sold out we decided we would advance our plans to grow the conference by building The Livecast Lounge an additional viewing space for 80 people, featuring three large screens," said Kim.
Also new for this year is an upgraded Farewell party on the final day of the conference, sponsored by Microsoft.
"The Farewell Party has been a huge hit over the past two years so we worked with Microsoft to increase the size and raise the production values of the event. This year's event will host 300 people at the Baltic Centre."
I'll be blogging highlights from the conference here and you can follow me on Twitter at @wadds.
